Mt. Hood continues to be one of the more challenging climbs I have done.  My first summit was in conditions that only allowed us about two minutes on the top as we had to descend before it became a total white out.  My next two attempts were in picture perfect weather.  The most dangerous part of this climb is navigating the huge number of other climbers as they ascend above the Hogsback.  Awareness is key, but the views are extraordinary from Timberline lodge all the way to the summit.
