Jeff and I climbed Adams in the summer of 2008 and met with some of the craziest weather I have ever experienced on a hike / climb. We began the trip in a full out down pour, clear skies, thunderstorm, freezing rain, killer wind, snow and then a silent / clear / perfect Summit morning. It's a long climb but not technical. Crampons and Ice axe are a must but the southern route is easily accessible. The false summit is a killer on the brain even though you know it's coming. (It's still a few hundred yards to the summit.)
