Winding your way down HWY 101 past Port Angeles you will find a crystal clear lake at the base of Storm King Mountain. With a depth of over 600 feet it is considered to be the second deepest lake in Washington. This is a great place to train given the sharp descents and good visability. Plenty of camping sites are available or drive a short distance back towards Port Angeles and stay at Granny's Resort and Cafe. Great food and clean rooms.
